SOUTH AMERICA 05/06 |

South
America is on the cards for later this year (2005). We plan to fly to Rio de
Janeiro, Brazil from Lisbon, Portugal in October. From there our route
will bring us south to
Sao Paulo, across to the Iguazú Falls, through Paraguay and Uruguay, to arrive in Buenos Aires,
Argentina by Christmas ’05. |
| Due to harsh climatic conditions in Patagonia, January is the best time for cycling this mountainous wonderland. | |
| Weeks of pushing through Pampa, to reach Tierra del Fuego, does not really sound like riveting travel. We will probably take an internal flight from Buenos Aires to Ushuaia, down south at the end of the world. |

UPDATES FROM SOUTH AMERICA |
From the southern tip of South America we will start our trail northwards on the Chilean side through glacier country and the Lake District as far as Santiago. Then it will be time to cross the Andes and check out more of Argentina as we head towards Bolivia, Peru, Ecuador and Colombia. Who knows where our adventures will bring us after that... |
